Bomber Nation,

We’ve made it to mid-October; next week is Homecoming, and the theme is “Blue and Gold Never Gets Old.” There are a number of events for everyone, and I would like to invite all of Bomber Nation to participate.

All campuses are participating in dress-up days. You can find a link to those theme days here

Mountain Home PTO is hosting Bingo Night at the Junior High on Tuesday of next week. There are some awesome prizes and it should be a great family night for all. Here’s a copy of their flyer. There will be great food as well.

Wednesday is the annual homecoming parade. Many of our Bombers will be featured in a number of ways in this event. The parade kicks off at Redeemer Lutheran Church at 5:30 and travels down the regular parade route – ending at Guy Berry.

Thursday evening is MHEF Night of Honors. We have an incredible slate of inductees, and I look forward to seeing them honored.

Friday is our homecoming football game where we will be honoring both MHEF inductees and MH Athletic Hall of Honor inductees as well as crowning a homecoming king and queen. We have a fantastic royalty group representing grades 9-12 this year, and I look forward to seeing them Friday evening on the field.

Saturday afternoon is the Athletic Hall of Honor event and in the evening the high school will host a semi-formal Homecoming dance.

I love living in a place where the entire community comes together to support our schools and works together to highlight all that it means to be a Bomber. Next week will be a very busy week. I would appreciate you all helping us by keeping our students safe and engaged!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Go Bombers!

Jake
