Will your child be five (5) years old on or before August 1, 2024? Do you live* in the Mountain Home Public Schools district? If so, kindergarten registration is open for the 2024 - 2025 school year!

*If you do not live in the Mountain Home Public Schools district, you must review the School Choice options below.

Please call Mountain Home Kindergarten at 870-425-1256 to schedule a time to register your student.

Please gather the required documents listed below and bring them with you to the event:

1. Official Birth Certificate (or hospital proof of birth)

2. Social Security Card

3. Current Immunizations/Shot Record (or appointment card)

4. Current Kindergarten Physical (or appointment card)

Students will not be considered registered or assigned a teacher until all required documentation is submitted to the kindergarten office.  

The Arkansas School Choice program enables kindergarten through grade 12 students to participate in a nonresident district school. The school choice application deadline is May 1st* of every year.

*If you miss the May 1st deadline, please contact Central Office at 870-425-1201 for information about nonresident participation.
