If you have a teacher who has made an impact on your life or your child’s life, we encourage you to take a moment to thank them. A kind word or simple note of appreciation can mean more than you know.

Today, each Mountain Home Public School campus was proudly presented with its official Purple Star School banner, recognizing our continued commitment to honoring military service members, veterans, and the families who sacrifice alongside them. 💜🇺🇸
Students and staff across the district wore purple and gathered in representation of their schools as the banners were presented. This is a meaningful reminder that our military-connected students and families are valued, supported, and appreciated in every MHPS building.
Being recognized as Purple Star Schools reflects more than a designation; it represents our district’s commitment to creating a culture of respect, gratitude, and support for those who have served our country. Thank you to all military families in our Bomber community for your sacrifice and service. Go Bombers!

High school students connected live with NASA astronaut Jack Hathaway aboard the International Space Station, getting a firsthand tour of life in space and asking questions straight from orbit.
From floating through the ISS to answering student questions in real time, this was a learning experience they won’t soon forget.
A special thank you to Mr. Scott Booth for hosting today’s event and helping make this opportunity possible for our students.
